Stephanie & Ben

Stephanie and Ben were married in a small gathering at the beautiful Blue Hill at Stone Barns. They came to us with a bag filled with beautiful papers, postcards, personal photos and necklaces. Having that kind of inspiration was truly amazing and gave us a real sense of who they were as a couple. Their wedding had a bohemian spirit to it that we knew we wanted to capture from the start. All the elements are hand drawn, including the monogram hands that were sketched from a picture of the couple in India. The borders were inspired by the flower garlands that the couple and guest adorned during their ceremony.

Laura & Alex

Laura and Alex were interested in pairing designs from our Collection Shoppe favorites for a custom look. Inspired by the Illustrated Islands and State of My Heart Save The Dates, we created a very special combination just for them! The festivities will begin with the ceremony at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Lower Manhattan followed by a big bash at the Brooklyn Museum. Using these 2 portions of the New York City map filled with hand drawn details of all their favorites illustrated their story beautifully.

Bianca

After working with Bianca on her wedding invitations, she came back to us for her Speakeasy themed birthday bash! Immediately we thought of the sliding peepholes & secret passwords associated with prohibition. We came up with the idea of a full sized sleeve with a perforated pull tab that would revel the password behind it. Printed on black paper with silver ink gave it a 1920's sophistication while being packaged in a brown paper envelope to conceal it's more sinister purpose.

Amy & Jon

Amy & Jon were married at the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia PA in an elegant black tie affair. They came to us knowing that they wanted their silhouettes and a lovely quote incorporated into their wedding monogram. We were also able to integrate a stethoscope in the shape of a heart as a little nod to Amy’s profession as a doctor. The whole suite was packaged in a beautiful champagne colored fabric pouch with a button detail. Over all, the look was sophisticated and very sweet, just like them.

Lauren & Alex

Lauren and Alex wed in a beautiful resort overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Lauren and Alex came to us with the idea of preppy/nautical and an interest in hand drawn maps. What better way to announce this New England style wedding then with a hand drawn map printed on canvas and wrapped up with a classically preppy ribbon bellyband.

Samantha & Aaron

Sam & Aaron came to us with the overall esthetic of modern metallics blended with natural lace and wood as the theme for their New York Wedding. Out of that idea originated a silver lace style pattern chock-full of imagery that represents them both as a couple so perfectly. Guests were able to explore the arrangement discovering all the fun details about the soon to be Mr. & Mrs!

Caitlin Hall

These bright and fun business cards were created as a going away gift for a writer on a journey West. We knew she needed something that would stand out! Yellow represented the sunny state she was heading to as well as her personality. With room on the back to share her creative thoughts, we felt these cards were a small way to leave a big impression.

Nicole & Michael

Nicole and Michael got married in the beautiful city of Chicago. Nicole contacted us looking for an elegant save the date to match their Art Deco inspired theme. They told us about their love of the Gatsby age and Art Nouveau motifs. We thought of the postcard as a message from the times adorned with hand lettered type and beautiful flourishes. The design was then letterpressed in gold foil on black paper stock. The use of this color combo was fitting for the era and the black tie nature of the event.

Christine & Kenny

Their magical wedding took place at the historical landmark Angel Orensanz Foundation which is the oldest surviving synagogue building in New York, built in 1849. The historical landmark easily inspired us to work with the romantic style of the 1800s. The mix of vintage style with their adorable details unfolded their personal love story in every corner of their suite. The house imprinted on the wax seal represents there first home together and so much more.

Valentina & Enrique

Their bohemian beach wedding invitation was a lot of fun to design. Valentina and Enrique were married this past August on the beautiful island of Venezuela, where they met and fell in love. We instantly felt ombre would be the perfect way to capture the feeling of warm island sunsets. Since the invitations were hand delivered, we wrapped the transparent gold envelopes in gold and white bakers twine like a package topping them off with hanging tags that were hand addressed.

Jackie & Scott

Jackie & Scott gave us the challenge of combining the organic beauty of their wedding location with the industrial town in which they lived into their monogram. We incorporated 2 very different stylistic type faces that we feel did just that. The one color invitation is clean & simple with a whimsical tone.

Jason & Kim

Jason and Kim were married at Stage 6 at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn. Even though Brooklyn is just a hop skip away from where they live, in Manhattan, they felt as if it was their own special destination. They liked the idea of celebrating Brooklyn throughout their stationery in a vintage fashion. The lace inspiration came from the bride's dress and the leaf stamp on the wax seal represented central park where Jason proposed to Kim.

Jenn & Alex

Jenn and Alex’s destination wedding took place in the beautiful setting of California amongst the vineyards, a place they shared special memories. They liked a casual rustic look that works so well with the natural setting of wine country. We chose to go with a tall layout to give the feeling of a wine bottle. The bakers twine topped with the heart hangtag tied everything together delivering the perfect package.

Jessie & Andy

For Jessie and Andy's backyard Oktoberfest inspired wedding, we incorporated their love of wild animals with the beer fest theme! The invitation was silkscreened on a large piece of ripped painters canvas. The RSVP card & return envelope were offset printed. The elements were packaged together with a hand died cluny lace bellyband. The custom wedding logo was also applied to welcome tote bags and etched into beer and wine glasses.

Candice & Yadin

Candace and Yadin lived in London, were engaged in Paris and married in the Big Apple. Candace contacted us to help her design some special items for her fall wedding. We created a special logo for them that was then applied to tote bags, letterpressed prints, stickers, and thank you cards.

Sarah & Dean

Sarah & Dean had a romantic beach wedding with an Art Deco flair. We created their 1940’s inspired monogram for their Tote Bags & Thank You Notes. The Thank You Notes were letterpressed in silver ink onto a thick black matte stock that screams style & sophistication.

Mary & Dave

Mary and Dave were married at her family’s 1747 farmhouse in New Hope, PA. The invites were all handmade booklets covered in book cloth and screen printed. The inside accordion pockets were made of kraft paper which housed each individual letterpressed card. It was all packaged in a muslin cloth envelope adorned with vintage cloth buttons.

Sara & David

Sara and David met and fell in love in chemistry class back in their University of Michigan days. We thought this story was so charming and the perfect opportunity to play around with a little science meets pretty. Their RSVP postcard was our favorite piece to design because the couple gave us a list of items that was significant in telling their love story. The complete suite turned out to be sweet chemistry.

Katy & Giff

Katy and Giff were married on a family ranch in Sandpoint, Idaho during the month of July. The ranch style wedding inspired itself perfectly to a wood invitation. Their deer and flower logo was a nod to their engagement story, letterpressed into a birch veneer and then backed with a ditsy floral fabric. The logo and design aesthetic were carried throughout the wedding creating a beautifully sweet sensation.

Wendy & Billy

These two Brooklynites came to us in a NY state of mind, so we decided that the pigeon was a quintessential representation of NY and would be a great way to deliver their good news!   With the bird on the city side, the illustration in the background gives props to the Brooklyn borough they love so much.

For their wedding invitation we continued on with their NYC/ Brooklyn goodness, incorporating all the elements that tell their story. Like a little hidden treasure hunt, you can find a water tower, the Brooklyn Bridge, a pigeon and couple of bikes woven into the intricate pattern carried through out the invitation pieces. Overall, it created a beautiful sophisticated & clean look with a lot more than meets the eye.
